ABOUT US
Gaffin Industrial Services, Inc. originally was formed by George Gaffin in 1979. George moved down from Kentucky to form this new industrial cleaning service. The use of water to clean the hardest of chemical and dirt build up was in its infancy. George grew the business over the years in the phosphate mines owned and operated by groups like Mosaic, Cargill and Mulberry Phosphate.
As time passed and the use of water became more common, the company branched into the power industry as well as into amusement parks and food processing plants. Eventually George Gaffin would promote a long term employee, Dan McCleary and his son Mark, whom both had worked in the field for many years.

Mark and Dan bought the company from George and started a new era of Industrial cleaning with the use of automation, vacuum trucks and eventually adding disposal to the mix. Mark Gaffin recently retired, but Dan McCleary continues to keep the business moving forward with long term employees, many of which have been with Gaffin for over 20 years. Gaffin Industrial Services, Inc. now includes CST (3D and 4D nozzle) cleanings as well as the use of air spades for the removal of soil in areas where water can’t be used. Many of the largest power producers in the State of Florida use Gaffin for their outage work and day to day activities that require hydro blasting and vacuuming.
